Business proposal issued to a large, multi-regional hospital system in the Carolinas with a net operating revenue of about 7.1B.
I got to work alongside one of my favorite writers from our Atlanta office with this one. This proposal had a two week turnaround for delivery, a 25 page content restriction, and a six month wait period for engagement decision. Because the organization was heavily into marketing and interaction with the surrounding communities I proposed that we not take a common medical approach with our deliverable. Instead we would present ourselves in much the same manner that the hospital did and did so without the use of a single medical image.
The pursuit team loved the idea and trusted the writer and myself to come up with a winning product, which we did. I balanced the use of imagery with maximizing content space. The hospital system is a client to this day.
This project moved very quickly and goes to show how a focused team can be successful in a short order.
